Lighthouse Homeschoolers will be accepting new members August 1 - August 19, 2010 for the 2010 - 2011 school year. All memberships must be postmarked by August 19, 2010 to be accepted for membership.

The New Member Meeting for new members and potential members will be the evening of August 10, 2010 at 7 pm. We will meet at Christ Memorial Baptist Church at 2929 Hardin-Combee Road for an informational meeting. You may bring your completed application and a check or cash in exact amount to this meeting. Please make every effort to attend as Lighthouse Homeschoolers would like to meet you, give you vital information, and answer your questions. This is an adults only meeting; nursing babies are welcome.

Once you become a member of Lighthouse Homeschoolers, you will have opportunities to sign up for field trips, participate in events sponsored by Lighthouse Homeschoolers, and be sent an invitation to our discussion forum, newsletter blog, and calendar of events.

Our first Teachers Meeting for 2010-2011 will be Thursday, August 26, 2010 at Lake Bonny Park on Bartow Road in Lakeland. Field trip sign-ups will be from 9:30 - 10:00 with our meeting beginning at 10:00 am.

Membership runs from August 1st to July 31st. The deadline for applications is August 19, 2010.

Fees are not prorated and are non-refundable.

When your application is processed you will receive an invitation to join our member discussion forum. The invitation will also include meeting information.
