"Focus on the Abundance"

Wow! What a whirlwind of a couple months. No pun intended! I am so, so happy to put the hurricanes behind us and look at the months to come, filled with holidays and wonderful happenings!

On November 2nd, I just want to encourage you to vote. I am not by any means on a podium about this at all, but it is so very important and such an incredible right we have. Please, just take the time to take advantage of this and go out and VOTE! Take your kids, they love it. List the things that are important to you and take an hour or so and read over the amendments and candidates we have to chose from and make informed decisions.

With all that has happened the last couple of months, it really becomes evident in our lives what we have to be grateful for! What a wonderful month for that to be so evident.

During November we love to read "Stories of the Pilgrims" (put out by Christian Liberty Press), we have read it several years. Just a little each day. Great stories and reminder that our nation was founded "on the rock of Christian faith".

I pray each of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving feast in food and family! Take the time each day this month to focus on the abundance that God has given you. Just the good. I know so many are going through things right now, if you can just take a few minutes each day to concentrate on Him and His gifts, the rest will seem smaller.
